I am a mother and a keen supporter of those around me. I am intensely curious about the world and love to learn. I love discovering things about nature, about myself and about those I share this earth with. I am always seeking to do things that are good for people and our planet.
When I am not working at my computer, which I am A LOT, you might find me in my garden, in someone else’s garden (hopefully with their permission), at the beach, spending time with family and friends, enjoying some live music somewhere or sharing a cuppa and a chat about the place.
I was a Marine Biologist in the late 90's... I can tell you lots about jellyfish eyeballs if you are interested :)

As I navigate the transition towards retirement, I reflect on a career
dedicated to empowering and guiding individuals and teams within large organisations. Now, I channel my passion into pursuits that energize and fulfil me.
Living by the principle of “Give more than you take,” I am currently embracing a phase of personal growth. I’m excited to discover more about each of you as we progress through this program and beyond.
We can't show you who they are yet because it depends on our final dates but they are local people who have participated in the wellbeing project in some way. You might already know them. We will make sure we let you know who they are before we all get together.
In the meantime here is a picture of Leah's daughter when she was in kinder about 12 years ago. Because she is cute and she let me :)
Every year people in the Wellbeing Certificate design and deliver local actions to help create wellbeing for others. This is just a snapshot. Join the Certificate and create your own action or build on those that have come before. It is generous, rewarding and fun. Learn more about just some of the past and emerging actions here.

We are grateful to The Wellbeing Lab and Michelle McQuaid's team who supported and mentored us to train local people in The Wellbeing Lab's Certificate in Creating Wellbeing.
Connect with them to find out more about their wellbeing programs and tools based on the latest wellbeing research.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We bring local people together to learn more about how to recognise and use strengths and positivity to create small changes for big impact in our community. We promise to help you identify what works well for yourself and those around you, and to give you tools, resources and support to create a change that make an impact.
We create a safe space for conversation and connection. Thinking and sharing about wellbeing can sometimes make anyone feel a little awkward and uncomfortable. This is normal. We will check in with you regularly and ask you what is ok for you. We are agile and people-centred so if we need to change things up we will.
No. This is a program to support good people to do good things in our community that improve people's sense of wellbeing. This program is for people who are ready to create wellbeing with, and for others. Of course you can expect to create wellbeing for yourself too!
You will participate in a four hour group session each week for 8 weeks. The sessions are fun, supportive and interactive. You will share with your group about good things you have seen or enjoyed. You will help design a small action that creates a positive impact in your community.
You do a small task each week in your own time. Then the next week you share what you did and how it went with your group. You are not marked or graded. You contribute to designing and delivering a community action to enhance wellbeing.
No. The real value comes from what you experience and do using resources that are evidence-based and high quality. We will give you a Certificate and quality statement for you to use to showcase your achievement and the merits of the program.
You will feel inspired, excited, confident and ready to take actions that improve your own wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around you. When you commit to spending time with us each week for 8 weeks you have already taken the most important step. That commitment will give you the time and space to try new things, to grow and to be part of creating something great.
